Job Requirements

Prior food and beverage industry experience preferred
prior guest relations training
strong written and verbal communication skills
positive, upbeat attitude and personality
punctuality and reliable attendance
strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public
ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and other team members
ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision
must be willing to work flexible hours such as mornings, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Ensure the proper setup of dining room
promptly greet guests and patrons personally as they enter the establishment
escort guests and patrons to their table
present menus, make recommendations and take orders if necessary
ensure dining room seating is controlled and that there is server parity in number of tables
liaise between staff and guests to ensure guest needs, as well as expectations are exceeded
anticipate and address guests' service needs
