- 16 plus years old
- reliable transportation required
- ability to wipe down table tops and booth seats
- mobility required during entire shift
- ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for up to four hours
- good sense of balance

- frequently lift and bus pans and trays weighing up to 25 pounds

- able to transport and carry high chairs up to 15 pounds

Job Duties
- Greets and seats all guests in a friendly manner
- assists in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant
- ensures seating service is rotated among server area assignments whenever possible
- opens doors for arriving and departing guests
- remains visible in the front of house and facing the main entrance
- occasionally delivers food and drinks to guests when extra assistance is needed
- interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- completes assigned opening and closing side work
- participates in the clearing and resetting of dining room tables using Applebee's team delivery approach
- observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates guests' needs
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- drives sales with suggestive selling
- accommodates special guest needs such as booster chairs and high chairs
- manages the waitlist when the restaurant is busy
- may be scheduled to serve guests in Carside To-Go or Server To-Go
- fills out feature forms
- assists in general front of house maintenance including restrooms, light cleaning, washing windows, sani-bucket rotation, setting up the expo line, emptying trash, rolling silverware, and maintaining restaurant curb appeal
