Job Duties
- Greets and seats all guests in a friendly manner
- assists in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant
- ensures seating service is rotated among server areas
- opens doors for arriving and departing guests
- remains visible in front of house facing the main entrance
- occasionally delivers food and drinks to guests
- interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- completes assigned opening and closing side work
- participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables using team delivery methods
- observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates needs
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- explains and demonstrates usage of tabletop electronic devices to guests
- drives sales with suggestive selling
- accommodates special guest needs such as booster or high chairs
- manages the waitlist during busy times
- serves guests in carside to-go or server roles when scheduled
- fills out feature sheets
- assists in general front of house maintenance including maintaining restrooms, light cleaning duties, washing windows, sanitizing buckets, setting up the expo line, emptying trash, rolling silverware, and maintaining restaurant curb appeal
