Job Duties
- Greets and seats all guests in a friendly manner
- assists in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant
- ensures seating service is rotated among server area assignments
- opens doors for arriving and departing guests
- remains visible in the front of house and faces the main dining area
- occasionally delivers food and drinks to guests
- interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- completes assigned opening and closing side work
- participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables using team delivery system
- observes guests and anticipates their needs
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- explains usage of tabletop electronic devices to guests
- drives sales through suggestive selling
- accommodates special needs such as booster chairs and high chairs
- manages the waitlist during busy periods
- may serve guests in Carside To-Go or server helper roles
- fills out feature and promotion checklists
- assists in front of house maintenance including restrooms, light cleaning, washing windows, rotating cleaning supplies, setting up expo line, emptying trash, rolling silverware, and maintaining curb appeal
