Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Capability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Greet guests and seat them at appropriate tables following HMSHost customer service standards
- Record customer reservations or seating times accurately
- Maintain and update restaurant seating charts
- Set up and maintain dining room areas before and during service
- Assist with stocking roll up silverware for shifts
- Advise guests on menu and beverage options using in-depth knowledge
- Oversee delivery and servicing of food and beverages
- Liaise between kitchen and floor staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform cashier and bus person duties as needed
- Follow cash handling policies and maintain cash security
- Refill water and coffee, remove service items and condiments
- Perform additional tasks during downtime such as rolling silverware, expediting food orders, washing dishes, preparing to-go food areas, and cleaning table condiments
