Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
- Demonstrated ability to interact positively with the public and coworkers
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations
- Willingness to perform multiple tasks and assist in various operational areas

Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile and appropriate greeting following HMSHost customer service standards
- Record customer reservations or seating times
- Maintain and update restaurant seating charts
- Set up and maintain dining room areas before service
- Assist with maintaining stock of silverware for the shift
- Seat guests and provide menu and beverage recommendations
- Oversee delivery and servicing of food and beverages
- Liaise between kitchen and floor staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform cashier and bus person tasks as needed
- Follow cash handling policies and maintain cash security
- Patrol assigned station refilling beverages and removing service items
- Perform additional duties such as rolling silverware, expediting food orders, washing dishes, and cleaning and filling table condiments
