Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a host or hostess role preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, lift 25 pounds daily and perform repetitive hand movements
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Availability to work shifts of 8 or more hours
- Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to work in a restaurant environment with variable temperatures and noise levels
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Previous host or hostess experience preferred
- Ability to maintain cleanliness by wiping tables, table legs, and booth seats
- Strong reading, writing and superior communication skills required
- Ability to communicate confidently creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere
Job Duties
- Greet, engage and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Accommodate special guest needs including boosters, highchairs and disabilities
- Manage the wait list and provide accurate wait times
- Assist servers by bussing tables, answering phones, and running food
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work and entry areas
- Check and ensure cleanliness of restrooms regularly
- Use the point of sale system accurately for clock-in, order processing and end-of-shift procedures
