Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a host or hostess role preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift 25 pounds daily and perform repetitive hand movements
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Availability to work shifts of 8 or more hours
  • Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to work in a restaurant environment with variable temperatures and noise levels

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Previous host or hostess experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness by wiping tables, table legs, and booth seats
  • Strong reading, writing and superior communication skills required
  • Ability to communicate confidently creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere

Job Duties

  • Greet, engage and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
  • Accommodate special guest needs including boosters, highchairs and disabilities
  • Manage the wait list and provide accurate wait times
  • Assist servers by bussing tables, answering phones, and running food
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work and entry areas
  • Check and ensure cleanliness of restrooms regularly
  • Use the point of sale system accurately for clock-in, order processing and end-of-shift procedures
