Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in hospitality or food service preferred
  • Ability to stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
  • Ability to speak, read, and understand instructions and policies
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers
  • Must comply with cash handling and security procedures
  • Willingness to perform multiple tasks and assist team members

Job Duties

  • Maintain consistent attention to the entrance and welcome all guests with a smile and greeting
  • Record customer reservations or seating times accurately
  • Update and manage restaurant seating charts
  • Set up and maintain dining room areas before service
  • Assist with stocking roll-up silverware for incoming shifts
  • Seat guests and advise on menus and beverage choices
  • Oversee delivery and servicing of food and beverages
  • Liaise between kitchen and floor staff to ensure service standards
  • Perform cashier and bus person duties as needed
  • Follow cash handling policies and maintain security
  • Patrol assigned station refilling beverages and clearing tables
  • Perform other duties such as rolling silverware, expediting food orders, washing dishes, and cleaning condiment stations
