Job Requirements

  • Previous restaurant experience preferred
  • ability to read and understand simple instructions
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information to guests and other team members
  • must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
  • constant standing and walking
  • occasional stooping and kneeling
  • occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 40 pounds
  • occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps
  • frequent flexing or rotation of the wrists and spine
  • constant receiving detailed information through oral communication
  • constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas using the spoken word
  • constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet all guests upon their arrival
  • open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant when possible
  • inspect tables for proper presentation
  • record guests' information in the NoWait App and provide estimated wait times when on a wait
  • notify guests via the NoWait App when their table is ready
  • accommodate special seating requests whenever possible
  • make friendly conversation with guests as you walk them to their table
  • offer guests a menu and inform them of the server's name upon seating
  • handle food such as chips and salsa
  • thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
  • attend all scheduled team member meetings
