Job Requirements

- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Prior cash handling experience preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties
- Welcome guests with a smile and appropriate greeting following HMSHost customer service standards
- Record customer reservations or seating times accurately
- Maintain and update restaurant seating charts
- Prepare and maintain dining room areas before serving
- Assist with maintaining sufficient stock of silverware
- Seat guests and advise on menus and beverages
- Act as liaison between kitchen staff and floor staff to ensure quality service
- Perform cashier and bus person duties as needed
- Follow cash handling policies and maintain cash security
- Patrol assigned station refilling beverages and removing items
- Perform other team duties such as rolling silverware, expediting food orders, washing dishes, and cleaning table condiments
