Job Requirements
- 16 plus years old
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to span fast-paced mobility for up to 4 hours
- Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds frequently
- Good sense of balance and physical flexibility
- Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
- Ability to wipe down tables, chairs, and pick up debris
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
- Ability to assist guests with special needs
- Ability to manage guest waitlists and seating
- Ability to operate phone, soda fountain, tabletop electronic device, and cleaning tools
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and engaging demeanor
- Prior work experience preferred
- Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Bi-lingual experience a plus
- Ability to build relationships
- Ability to be a team player
- Ability to follow manager instructions and guidance
- Ability to communicate and behave professionally at all times
Job Duties
- Greets and seats all guests in a friendly manner
- Assists in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant
- Ensures seating service is rotated among server area assignments
- Opens doors for arriving and departing guests
- Remains visible in the front of house and faces the main entrance
- Occasionally delivers food and drinks to guests when extra assistance is needed
- Interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat environment
- Completes assigned opening and closing side work
- Participates in clearing and resetting tables using team delivery
- Observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates needs
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices
- Drives sales with suggestive selling
- Accommodates special needs such as booster and high chairs
- Manages the waitlist during busy times
- May serve guests in Carside To-Go or Server roles occasionally
- Fills out feature documentation
- Assists in front of house maintenance including restroom upkeep, light cleaning, window washing, trash emptying, rolling silverware, and maintaining curb appeal
