Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation required
- ability to wipe down table tops, legs, and seats
- ability to transport plates, glasses, and baskets repeatedly during shift
- mobility required throughout entire shift
- ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for up to four hours
- good sense of balance
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel
- frequently lift and bus pans and trays up to 25 pounds
- ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
- ability to transport and carry objects such as high chairs up to 15 pounds

Job Duties
- Greets and seats all guests in a friendly manner
- assists in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant
- ensures seating service is rotated among server area assignments
- opens doors for arriving and departing guests
- remains visible in the front of house and faces the main entrance
- occasionally delivers food and drinks to guests when extra assistance is needed
- interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- completes assigned opening and closing side work
- participates in the clearing and resetting of dining room tables using Applebee's team delivery system
- observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates guest needs
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- drives sales with suggestive selling
- accommodates special guest needs such as booster and high chairs
- manages the waitlist during busy periods
- occasionally serves guests in Carside To-Go or Server roles
- fills out feature paperwork
- assists in general Front of House maintenance functions including cleaning restrooms, dusting fixtures and furniture, washing windows, performing sani-bucket rotation, setting up the expo line, emptying trash, rolling silverware, and maintaining restaurant curb appeal
