Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year experience in food service preferred
- Ability to use hospital-issued technology devices
- Must be able to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Ability to interact courteously with patients and visitors
- Capability to understand and respond appropriately to instructions
- Must work rotating shifts including weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of experience in food service preferred
- Knowledge related to different diet types
- Basic computer skills for menu selections
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Provide positive patient experience during meal service
- Take and deliver meal orders using hospital-issued tablet and mobile phone
- Ensure safety and sanitation requirements are followed including proper PPE use
- Use two patient identifiers when delivering meals
- Verify diet orders for accuracy
- Remove meal trays promptly and courteously
- Maintain courteous and professional interaction with patients and visitors
