Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to stand, bend, and twist during shifts
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to speak, read, and understand instructions
  • Customer service orientation
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to perform various duties as assigned in a fast-paced environment
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to read and interpret seating charts
  • Friendly and enthusiastic communication skills
  • Ability to interact positively with guests and coworkers
  • Ability to follow instructions and policy guidelines
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Basic comprehension of written and spoken English

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and seat them at appropriate tables
  • Record customer reservations and seating times accurately
  • Maintain and update restaurant seating charts
  • Assist with setup and maintenance of dining areas
  • Manage roll up silverware stock for shifts
  • Advise guests on menu and beverage options
  • Liaise between kitchen and floor staff to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Perform cashier and busser duties as needed
  • Follow cash handling policies
  • Refill water and coffee
  • Remove service items and condiments
  • Assist with expediting food orders and cleaning
  • Prepare to-go orders and clean table condiments
