Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Maintains consistent attention to the entrance and greets guests with a smile
  • records customer reservations and seating times
  • updates and manages restaurant seating charts
  • sets up and maintains dining areas before service
  • assists with stocking silverware for shifts
  • seats guests and advises on menu and beverage choices
  • oversees food and beverage delivery and service
  • liaises between kitchen and floor staff to ensure quality
  • performs cashier and bus person duties as needed including cashing out guests
  • follows cash handling policies and maintains cash security
  • patrols assigned station, refilling drinks and removing service items
  • performs various support tasks during downtime such as rolling silverware, expediting orders, washing dishes, preparing to-go food, and cleaning condiment stations
