Job Duties
- greet guests promptly and display overwhelming care and concern for the guests needs
- use table management system to quote guests accurate seating times and handle reservations
- multitask by greeting guests, assigning tables, and answering the house phone
- monitor the floor and assess seating and dining flow
- assist in placing, packaging, and closing out to-go orders
- keep a clean and tidy waiting area for guests
- maintain menu presentation by keeping menus clean and replacing damaged or soiled menus
- perform opening, running, and closing duties as needed
- assist co-workers with side work including wiping down tables and restocking
- answer general business questions and take phone messages as required
