Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous customer service experience in a high-volume operation preferred
  • read, write, speak and understand English
  • able to work on a POS system
  • able to count cash
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • available to work required schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
  • meet professional appearance standards prescribed by company policy
  • physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
  • able to respond to visual and oral cues
  • able to reach above and below shoulder, grip small items, bend, stoop and twist while carrying restaurant stock
  • stand and walk for up to four hours
  • use hand motions when cleaning and wiping menus and tables
  • tolerate industry standard chemicals
  • tolerate noise and bright lights
  • work at a fast pace in often crowded and noisy environment
  • maintain neat, well-groomed, professional appearance
  • maintain good posture and poise
  • physically capable of pushing, pulling, carrying and lifting up to 25 lbs, and able to perform physical motions such as push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance in varying work areas

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • providing fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and restaurant staff
  • greeting and welcoming each guest entering restaurant
  • seating guests in restaurant as per specified rotation requirements
  • maintaining proper seating and reservation documentation
  • monitoring restaurant for table availability
  • keeping designated working area clean and organized, including cashiering area, as necessary or required
  • assisting servers and bussers in their duties such as refilling water glasses and coffee cups and pre-bussing and bussing tables
  • completing all assigned closing duties at end of shift
  • knowing and promoting current casino events and programs and providing guests with directions
  • thanking customers, inviting them back, wishing them luck and facilitating their return to play
