Job Duties
- Greeting every guest with a genuine smile and enthusiastic welcome
- managing seating chart and waitlist efficiently
- seating guests promptly at appropriate tables
- balancing server sections
- managing guest expectations during busy periods
- answering phones and providing accurate information about menu, hours, and specials
- maintaining cleanliness and organization of host stand, waiting area, and entryway
- escorting guests to tables and presenting menus
- addressing guest inquiries and handling minor concerns politely
- assisting bussers with light table clearing or setting
- observing dining room activity and communicating with servers and management about table availability and guest flow
