Job Requirements

  • previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting preferred but not required
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to multitask and handle multiple customers simultaneously
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
  • must be available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • greet customers as they arrive and seat them at their tables
  • provide menus and inform customers of daily specials
  • manage reservations and ensure that the restaurant is seating customers efficiently
  • maintain a clean and organized entrance and waiting area
  • answer customer questions and provide information about the restaurant and menu
  • perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager
