Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience in a high-volume operation preferred
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Able to work on a POS system
  • Able to count cash
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
  • Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
  • Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items such as flatware, plates, cups, glasses, bend, stoop and twist while carrying restaurant stock to and from supply areas
  • Able to reach across tables
  • Able to stand and walk for up to four hours
  • Able to use hand motions when cleaning and wiping menus and tabletops
  • Must be able to tolerate industry standard chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing
  • Able to tolerate noise and bright lights
  • Able to work at a fast pace in an often crowded and noisy environment
  • Must be able to maintain a neat, well-groomed, professional appearance and uphold the company appearance standards

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Providing fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and restaurant staff
  • Greets and welcomes each guest entering restaurant
  • Seating guests in restaurant as per specified rotation requirements
  • Maintaining proper seating and reservation documentation
  • Monitoring restaurant for table availability
  • Keeping designated working area clean and organized, wiping and assisting in maintaining cleanliness of dining room including cashiering area as necessary or required in accordance with established health and safety standards
  • Assisting servers and bussers in their duties such as refilling water glasses and coffee cups, helping pre-bus and bus tables, attending to guest needs as necessary or required
  • Completing all assigned closing duties at end of shift
  • Knowing and promoting current casino events and programs and giving guests directions to all casino areas
  • Thanking customers, inviting them back, wishing them luck and making it easy for them to get back in play
