  • Familiarity with reservation systems such as Tock is an advantage
  • Professional appearance and friendly demeanor
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Check that on-hold music is playing and entrance is ready upon arrival
  • Greet all incoming guests warmly with a smile while maintaining direct line of sight to the door
  • Answer phone calls with proper greeting and address guest needs promptly and professionally
  • Enter reservation details accurately into Tock including special requests, occasions, dietary restrictions, allergies, and VIP status
  • Maintain a clean and organized host stand and work area free of unnecessary notes and debris
  • Perform side work and deep cleaning duties according to posted assignments
  • Greet guests warmly using specific verbiage and confidently lead guests to assigned tables assisting with seating etiquette
  • Communicate special guest requests and VIP information to dining room staff and management
  • Monitor guest body language to identify any dissatisfaction and inform management accordingly
  • Manage guests waiting for tables by escorting them to the bar and informing bartenders
