- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Check that on-hold music is playing and entrance is ready upon arrival
- Greet all incoming guests warmly with a smile while maintaining direct line of sight to the door
- Answer phone calls with proper greeting and address guest needs promptly and professionally
- Enter reservation details accurately into Tock including special requests, occasions, dietary restrictions, allergies, and VIP status
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and work area free of unnecessary notes and debris
- Perform side work and deep cleaning duties according to posted assignments
- Greet guests warmly using specific verbiage and confidently lead guests to assigned tables assisting with seating etiquette
- Communicate special guest requests and VIP information to dining room staff and management
- Monitor guest body language to identify any dissatisfaction and inform management accordingly
- Manage guests waiting for tables by escorting them to the bar and informing bartenders
