Job Requirements

- Previous experience in customer service

- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends

- Basic knowledge of reservation management systems is an advantage
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and warmly as they enter the restaurant
- Manage guest flow by accurately estimating wait times and managing the seating chart
- Escort guests to their tables, provide menus, and introduce the server if needed
- Handle reservations using the reservation system
- Answer phone calls, take to-go orders if applicable, and assist with general inquiries
- Communicate wait times and table status updates to guests clearly and politely
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and appearance of the host stand and entrance area
- Coordinate with servers, bussers, and management to ensure smooth table turnover and guest satisfaction
- Monitor and manage the overall flow of the dining room to optimize seating and service
- Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and refer to a manager when necessary
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and service standards of the restaurant or hotel brand
