- ability to communicate clearly

Job Qualifications
- Sanitation certified
- TiPS training
- previous experience as waiter or maitre'd in a fine dining steakhouse or restaurant of more than 6 months, preferably in a casino environment
- ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- ability to calculate figures, amounts, discounts, and percentages
- ability to follow written or oral instructions
- ability to handle problems with multiple variables
- ability to obtain appropriate work authorization per local, state, federal, and gaming regulations
Job Duties
- Creates a positive guest experience
- answers any questions, takes responsibility to get answers, and anticipates guests' needs and problems
- takes reservations or seats guests according to outlet standards
- organizes reservation book as directed by outlet manager
- recommends dining special selections and wine
- accommodates guests with last minute requests
- conducts other duties as assigned by manager
- completes daily station chart and checks control sheets
- assures menus are presentable and in repair
- follows money handling procedures
- conducts shift change with few to no mistakes
- contacts manager concerning POS system malfunctions
