- Knowledge of reservation management

- Familiarity with reservation systems such as Opentable

Job Duties
- Welcome guests to the venue
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Answer telephone address customers queries, process and track reservations in Opentable according to established procedures
- Escort guests to assigned dining tables
- Seat guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations
- Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their servers name
- Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
- Control the volume of the restaurant and assure guests waiting are practicing social distance
- Inspect and maintain daily menus to ensure quality, condition, and appearance while developing a complete working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials
- Process and handle all take-out/delivery food orders in accordance with established procedures
- Other duties may be assigned by the department head
