Job Requirements

  • Sanitation certified
  • TiPS training
  • Previous experience as a waiter or maitre d' in a fine dining steakhouse or restaurant for more than 6 months, preferably in a casino environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Ability to calculate figures, amounts, discounts, and percentages
  • Ability to apply common sense to written or oral instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems with multiple variables
  • Ability to obtain appropriate work authorization per local, state, federal, and gaming regulations

  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving multiple variables
  • Ability to obtain appropriate work authorization per local, state, federal, and gaming regulations

Job Duties

  • Creates a positive guest experience by smiling, being helpful and friendly
  • Answers guest questions, takes responsibility to get answers, anticipates guest needs and problems
  • Takes reservations or seats guests according to outlet standards, organizes reservation book as directed
  • Recommends dining specials and wine selections
  • Accommodates guests with last minute requests
  • Completes daily station chart, checks control sheets if used, ensures menus are presentable and repaired
  • Handles money according to operational standards, conducts shift change with accuracy and ensures all paperwork is accounted for
  • Contacts Manager about any breakdowns or malfunctions of the MiCROS systems
