Job Requirements
- No formal education required
- 1 year of hosting experience required
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of up to 2 hours
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to see monitor screen and read computer and hard copy materials
- Must be able to hear and communicate verbally in person and by phone or radio
- Functional range of motion of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spines and extremities
- Capable of bending, squatting, kneeling, and using proper body mechanics during transfers and transport of supplies or equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year of hosting experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work weekdays and weekends
- Basic computer literacy
- Customer service experience
Job Duties
- Greets and seats residents in rotation order
- Organizes and holds pre-service meetings
- Completes take-out service duties in the afternoon hours
- Completes any afternoon catering/setup duties as needed
- Responsible for problem solving and meeting customer demands appropriately
- Prints and manages menus for all meals
- Maintains guest reservations book
