Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform duties requiring bending, stooping, and reaching
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Must be able to comply with safety and sanitation guidelines including CDC and local health regulations

- Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables
- Monitor guests' needs and the flow of the restaurant and seat guests accordingly
- Deliver the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests
- Perform restroom checks, answer phone, keep lobby, bakery and retail areas clean, and maintain stocked and cleaned work areas
- Practice safe food and beverage handling
- Communicate and interact with guests, handle crowds, and put guests at ease while they wait
- Show guests you care and ask them about their dining experience
- Effectively handle guest complaints and involve manager when appropriate
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately including cash, credit cards, and gift cards
- Assist in marketing, promotional services, and situational selling by communicating new promotions, products, or marketing information to guests
- Clear, sanitize, and set tables as needed
- Manage guests' wait times by working with managers to quote accurate wait times
- Assist in other job categories as requested
- Perform all other duties as assigned
