Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years related experience
  • excellent guest service skills
  • ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • strong menu knowledge
  • ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • must be able to stand for entire shift and walk long periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Greet guest in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables
  • monitor guests' needs and the flow of the restaurant and seat guests accordingly
  • deliver the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests
  • perform restroom checks, answer phone, keep lobby, bakery and retail areas clean of debris, and keep the general work area stocked and cleaned
  • practice safe food and beverage handling
  • communicate and interact with guests, handle crowds, and put guests at ease while they wait
  • ask guests about their dining experience
  • effectively handle guest complaints and involve manager when necessary
  • handle cash and credit transactions accurately and account for all receivables
  • assist in marketing, promotional services and situational selling
  • clear, sanitize, and set tables as needed
  • manage guest wait times by working with managers to quote accurate wait times
  • assist in other job categories as assigned
  • perform all other duties as assigned
