Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years related experience in restaurant or customer service
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • Must be dependable with exceptional teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent guest service skills and experience
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to prioritize and possess good organizational skills
  • Ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions, and possess strong menu knowledge
  • Computer skills including POS system experience
  • 0-2 years related experience
  • Strong knowledge of common concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
  • Ability to plan and accomplish goals relying on experience and judgment

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables
  • Monitor guests' needs and the flow of the restaurant and seat guests accordingly
  • Deliver the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests
  • Perform restroom checks, answer phone calls, keep lobby, bakery and retail areas clean, and maintain general workspace
  • Practice safe food and beverage handling
  • Communicate with guests, manage crowds, and ease guest wait times
  • Show guests care by asking about their dining experience
  • Effectively handle guest complaints and involve managers as appropriate
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Assist in marketing and promote new products and promotions
  • Clear, sanitize, and set tables as needed
  • Manage guest wait times with managers
  • Assist in other job categories as assigned
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
