Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years related experience in restaurant or hospitality industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to use POS system
- Dependability and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow safe food handling procedures
- Availability for early closing shifts
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise

- Strong menu knowledge

- Strong knowledge of restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to plan and accomplish goals using experience and judgment
Job Duties
- Greet guest in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables
- Monitor guests’ needs and the flow of the restaurant and seat guests accordingly
- Deliver the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests
- Perform restroom checks, answer phone, keep lobby and retail areas clean
- Practice safe food and beverage handling
- Communicate and interact with guests to manage wait times and handle complaints
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and account for all receivables
- Assist in marketing and promotional services, communicate promotions to guests
- Clear, sanitize, and set tables as needed
- Manage guests wait times by coordinating with managers
- May assist in other job categories as assigned
- Perform all other duties as assigned
