Job Duties
- Greet guest in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables
- monitor guests’ needs and the flow of the restaurant and seat guests accordingly
- deliver the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests
- perform restroom checks, answer phones, keep lobby, bakery, and retail areas clean, and keep work area stocked and cleaned
- practice safe food and beverage handling
- communicate and interact with guests, handle crowds, and put guests at ease while they wait
- show guests you care and ask about their dining experience
- handle guest complaints and involve manager when necessary
- handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- assist in marketing, promotional services, and situational selling
- clear, sanitize, and set tables
- manage guests wait times with managers
- assist in other job categories as needed
- perform all other assigned duties
