Job Duties

  • Greet guest in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables
  • monitor guests’ needs and the flow of the restaurant and seat guests accordingly
  • deliver the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests
  • perform restroom checks, answer phones, keep lobby, bakery, and retail areas clean, and keep work area stocked and cleaned
  • practice safe food and beverage handling
  • communicate and interact with guests, handle crowds, and put guests at ease while they wait
  • show guests you care and ask about their dining experience
  • handle guest complaints and involve manager when necessary
  • handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • assist in marketing, promotional services, and situational selling
  • clear, sanitize, and set tables
  • manage guests wait times with managers
  • assist in other job categories as needed
  • perform all other assigned duties
