Job Requirements

  • Evening, weekend and holiday availability
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards
  • Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions
  • Ability to transport up to 30 pounds continuously during shift
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
  • Ability to move or push goods on hand cart or truck weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Constant standing and walking required
  • Ability to twist, bend, stoop, reach, talk, hear, see and smile frequently during the shift

Job Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to stay poised under pressure
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
  • Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations
  • Hold a current food handler card or in process of being certified
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
  • Basic knowledge of the English language to understand inquiries and communicate instructions

Job Duties

  • Welcome every guest with authentic warmth, professionalism and genuine enthusiasm
  • Manage reservations and waitlists with grace, organization and clear communication
  • Create a seamless flow of service by coordinating thoughtfully with servers, managers and kitchen teams
  • Escort guests to tables while setting expectations and creating anticipation for their experience
  • Maintain an organized, polished host stand and entry area that reflects our elevated yet playful spirit
  • Handle guest inquiries in person and by phone with patience, positivity and care
