Job Duties

  • Greet guest in a friendly warm and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables
  • Monitor guests' needs and the flow of the restaurant and seat guests accordingly
  • Deliver the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests
  • Perform restroom checks answer phone keep lobby bakery and retail areas clean and stocked
  • Practice safe food and beverage handling
  • Communicate and interact with guests handle crowds and put guests at ease while they wait
  • Show guests you care and ask them about their dining experience
  • Effectively handle guest complaints and involve manager at appropriate time
  • Handle cash and credit transactions and accurately account for all receivables including cash credit cards and gift cards
  • Assist in marketing promotional services and situational selling such as communicating new promotions products or marketing information to guests
  • Clear sanitize and set tables as needed
  • Manage guests wait times by working with managers to quote accurate wait times
  • May be asked to assist in other job categories as well
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
