Job Duties
- Greet guest in a friendly warm and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables
- Monitor guests' needs and the flow of the restaurant and seat guests accordingly
- Deliver the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests
- Perform restroom checks answer phone keep lobby bakery and retail areas clean and stocked
- Practice safe food and beverage handling
- Communicate and interact with guests handle crowds and put guests at ease while they wait
- Show guests you care and ask them about their dining experience
- Effectively handle guest complaints and involve manager at appropriate time
- Handle cash and credit transactions and accurately account for all receivables including cash credit cards and gift cards
- Assist in marketing promotional services and situational selling such as communicating new promotions products or marketing information to guests
- Clear sanitize and set tables as needed
- Manage guests wait times by working with managers to quote accurate wait times
- May be asked to assist in other job categories as well
- Perform all other duties as assigned
