Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting preferred
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build positive guest relationships
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced work environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
  • Understanding of food service industry practices and standards
  • Professional appearance and adherence to dress code standards
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with basic cash handling procedures

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests with a positive, friendly attitude
  • Manage reservations and seating to optimize guest experience and service flow
  • Provide menus and respond to guest inquiries
  • Accurately handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and cashier station
  • Clean and organize the dining room and tables once guests are done eating
  • Collaborate with serving staff to ensure efficient operations
  • Assist in creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
  • Uphold high standards of customer service and satisfaction
  • Support upselling of beverages and menu items when appropriate
  • Follow food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
