Job Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • maintains a current state alcohol serving permit
  • maintains a current Food Handlers Card
  • basic understanding of restaurant procedures
  • flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • able to work independently and in high-stress environments
  • able to perform simple mathematical calculations
  • technology aptitude for point-of-sale and reservation systems
  • able to connect and communicate with guests
  • able to use suggestive selling techniques
  • physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • able to lift up to 50lbs
  • able to perform repetitive hand movements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival
  • manage party sizes and quote wait times accurately
  • escort guests to their tables and engage with them
  • assist servers by taking guest orders and delivering food and beverages
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand and restaurant entrance
  • answer telephones and manage to-go orders
  • utilize the Toast point-of-sale system effectively
