Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • ability to strictly adhere to company uniform standards including maintaining personal hygiene and grooming
  • ability to speak read and write English
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends holidays mornings and nights
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift and transport items up to 15 pounds
  • willingness to work independently and as part of a team
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members

  • ability to handle challenges including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems
  • ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 15 pounds

Job Duties

  • warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival
  • provide guidance to guests inclusive of dining options and general venue information
  • utilize electronic table management system to monitor dining room and guest flow
  • explain the restaurant concept to guests
  • record guest names and party size when immediate seating is unavailable
  • be knowledgeable about the floor plan and service stations
  • provide guests with estimated wait times
  • maintain a professional and courteous attitude with guests
  • accommodate special seating requests
  • seat guests based on preferences and customer flow balancing
  • offer guests menus and inform them of server's name
  • inspect tables for proper presentation
  • relay messages to servers and bus-persons
  • relay guest comments or suggestions to management
  • maintain supplies at host stand
  • clean menus and maintain cleanliness of work area
  • perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks to adhere to health standards
  • attend mandatory meetings
  • thank guests upon departure and invite them to return
  • perform other duties as assigned by leadership
