Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Practice safe work habits and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Strictly adhere to company uniform standards
  • Maintain a well-groomed appearance and personal hygiene
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk multiple times during shift
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Ability to work extended hours and flexible shifts including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to adhere to company uniform standards and maintain personal hygiene
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to listen effectively and take instruction
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards
  • Familiarity with electronic reservation systems, preferably OpenTable
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and move frequently during shifts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness and drive to exceed guest expectations
  • Ability to handle challenges proactively and solve problems as needed
  • Ability to lift and transport items up to 15 pounds

Job Duties

  • Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival
  • Provide guidance to guests about dining options and local information
  • Utilize electronic table management system to monitor dining room and guest flow
  • Record guest names and party sizes when immediate seating is unavailable
  • Seat guests based on preferences while balancing customer flow
  • Offer menus and inform guests of their server's name
  • Maintain a clean and organized host station and perform general cleaning as required
  • Relay guest feedback and messages to appropriate staff
  • Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return
