Job Requirements

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees
  • detect and identify safety issues and comply with safety guidelines and standards
  • lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs
  • stand and walk for extended periods
  • bend, stoop, and reach to access various areas and items
  • work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

  • lift, push, or pull objects such as tables and chairs to reconfigure seating arrangements

  • work in close proximity to coworkers in a crowded kitchen or serving area

Job Duties

  • Acquaint yourself with the menu and Japanese cuisine
  • learn about beer, wine, and sake through peer-led beverage training and provide excellent cocktail service to waiting guests
  • maintain awareness of dining room pace and communicate with team to ensure smooth table turns
  • review, plan, and execute table placements and preferences for reservations while communicating guest notes with managers and servers
  • build trust with guests and keep them updated while they wait for their table
