Job Requirements
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food and alcohol certification as required by state law
- Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds
- Good hearing for safety and accurate communication
- Must be able to read, write and speak in English
- Must have reliable transportation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food and alcohol safety certification a plus
Job Duties
- Welcome and entertain guests warmly to provide a positive first impression
- Manage efficient and timely seating of guests
- Answer phones and handle guest inquiries
- Manage call-ahead seating, reservations, and to-go orders
- Communicate accurately with wait staff and manage waitlist flow
- Be knowledgeable of restaurant promotions and specials
- Ensure guests leave with a friendly and authentic experience
