Job Requirements

  • must possess or be able to obtain a valid food/alcohol certification as required by state law
  • able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds
  • good hearing for safety and accurate communication
  • must be able to read, write and speak in English
  • must have reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • strong organizational skills
  • proficiency in using reservation and seating management software
  • positive and energetic attitude

Job Duties

  • welcome and entertain guests in a warm and friendly manner to provide a positive first impression of service
  • manage the efficient and timely seating of guests
  • answer phones and handle call ahead seating
  • take reservations and guest inquiries
  • manage to go orders
  • communicate effectively with wait staff to ensure smooth guest flow
  • be knowledgeable about brand-related restaurant information such as happy hour and promotions
