  • able to work well under pressure during times of high-volume service
  • neat and organized on the floor during service
  • shows consistent work habits and a great work ethic
  • possess the ability to multitask and problem solve
  • able to speak appropriately and communicate to guests in a professional manner
  • proactive and enthusiastic team player working well with others
  • positive personality and a professional attitude
  • working knowledge of the menu and all available offerings

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests to Bar Hunã
  • when possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the bar
  • provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
  • manage reservations, seating guests within 5 minutes of their arrival/reservation time
  • experts in utilizing Tock to make accurate reservations and maximize our business
  • escort guests to assigned dining or bar areas
  • provide menus and announce waiter/waitress's name
  • greet guests upon their departure
  • coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
  • maintain a clean reception area
  • cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g., children, elderly)
  • assist guests with their coats and belongings
  • answer incoming calls and address guests’ queries
  • thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
  • assist wait staff as needed
  • assist in opening and closing duties as assigned
  • perform other duties as assigned
