Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- restaurant industry experience preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation laws, principles, procedures, and practices
- ability to stand for up to 8 hours continuously
- ability to communicate clearly
- ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- satisfactory completion of pre-employment drug screening
- satisfactory completion of criminal background check

Job Duties
- Warmly meets and greets all guests upon arrival
- presents menus to guests, informs guests of restaurant specials and servers' names
- when immediate seating is limited, records guest names and party size
- provides guests with estimated waiting times
- runs floor plan board and seats guests fairly or by special request, accurately recording reservation information
- inspects tables for proper presentation and completeness
- relays messages to servers and bussers as needed
- answers phone and responds to guest questions in person or by phone
- contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
