Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and warmly with guests
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Friendly and respectful attitude
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle busy and fast-paced environments
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and seating procedures
- Strong organizational skills
Job Duties
- Warmly meets and greets all guests upon arrival
- Presents menus to guests, informs guests of restaurant specials and of servers name
- When immediate seating is limited, record guest names and number of people in party
- Provide guests with estimated waiting time
- Run floor plan board and seat guests fairly and/or by special request, accurately recording reservation information
- Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness
- Relay messages to servers and bussers as needed
- Answer phone
- respond to guests questions in person or by phone
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
