Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • one or more years of experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • valid food handlers card
  • availability to work part-time or full-time including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • strong communication skills
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to work well in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • one or more years of experience working in high-volume and or guest-facing food service preferred
  • valid food handlers card required
  • working knowledge and or exposure to dining room and service standards, procedures, and functions
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • friendly and approachable demeanor

Job Duties

  • working as a team with FOH and BOH to ensure consistent and timely experience for guests through customer service and food quality
  • actively assisting fellow team members in meeting the needs of guests
  • following company policies, state and food safety and sanitation standards
  • continued education surrounding Japanese cuisine and beverages
  • additional duties may apply specific to each position
  • managing guest seating and reservations
  • maintaining a clean and organized host station
