Job Requirements

  • Part-time or full-time availability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and noisy environment
  • Good communication skills for accurate information exchange with customers
  • Ability to maneuver inside the restaurant and office areas
  • Ability to operate basic office and restaurant equipment
  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs and ladders
  • Physical capacity to distinguish different tastes such as sweet and bitter flavors
  • Commitment to following company policies and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • One or more years of experience working in high-volume and/or guest-facing food service preferred
  • Valid Food Handlers card required
  • Working knowledge and/or exposure to dining room and service standards, procedures, and functions

Job Duties

  • Working as a team with FOH and BOH to ensure consistent and timely experience for guests through customer service and food quality
  • Actively assisting fellow team members in meeting the needs of guests
  • Following company policies, state and food safety and sanitation standards
  • Continued education surrounding Japanese cuisine and beverages
  • Additional duties may apply specific to each position
