Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion
- Previous host/hospitality experience in a high-volume restaurant/lounge
- Ability to work and remain focused in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Provide guests with basic food and beverage information including special offerings and display upselling skills
- Able to assign seating considering service standards, staffing levels and kitchen capacity
- Set up the host stand, review the reservation book, and maintain general cleanliness and orderliness of the area throughout shift
- Assist with incoming calls and answering questions from guests and confirm reservations
- Seat reservations promptly at a table pre-set for the number in the party and hold chairs for guests as often as possible when seating them
- Protect establishment, guests, and employees by adhering to Department of Health and company sanitation standards
- Actively take and process reservations for guests, special orders, pre-payment information
- Perform side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management
- Responsible for making sure all menus are organized and current, taking weekly inventory of menu paper, menu backs and desk stationary
- Report all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management
- Attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings
- Update knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities
- Portray a positive and professional attitude
- Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook
- Anticipate and accommodate needs of the guest while providing professional and exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction
