Job Requirements

- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Basic knowledge of casino operations is a plus

Job Duties
- Responsible for the initial reception to all guests upon arrival
- Verifies reservations before seating guests
- Escorts guests to the table and provides food and wine menus
- Uses proper greetings as instructed in the training manual
- Uses proper telephone etiquette
- Seats all stations in order or rotation to ensure fairness and maximum service
- Coordinates with servers and bussers to assure availability of tables
- Inspects podium for cleanliness, organization, and supplies
- Inspects and cleans menus at the end of each shift
- Carries out Horseshoe customer service policy at all times
- Works well with other restaurant employees to promote teamwork
- Collaborates with Casino and Slot Hosts to ensure excellent guest service
- Demonstrates superior customer service skills and Spotlight on Success behaviors
- Maintains upbeat, positive attitude and enthusiasm
- Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates customer wins
- Provides warm, friendly verbal greetings
- Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service
- Checks for satisfaction and uses Service Recovery process
- Promotes Total Rewards programs and card membership
- Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
