Job Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping
- Manual dexterity for handling glassware, utensils and technology systems
- Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Visual ability including distance, close, color, depth and peripheral vision
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required for California positions (can be completed during training or within 60 days after start)

Job Duties

- As an Outbacker, you’ll help to provide each customer with an AUS-SOME dining experience in the restaurant, that makes each guest’s day better
- Makes memorable first and last impressions with a smile
- Greets incoming and departing Guests in a welcoming manner
- Seats guests in the dining and bar areas, while ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff
- Coordinates wait, and seats Guests with a sense of urgency
- Always smiles and has genuine conversations with Guests
- Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise
- Teamwork is essential and expected of all Outbackers
- Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards
- Busses tables, delivers food and supports the dining room, while ensuring every opportunity to WOW our guests is fulfilled

- Will have a general knowledge of the food and drink menu and be able to recommend and upsell products
- Answers the phone in a prompt and professional manner and directs calls
- Leads the lobby experience for each Guest, following Outback hospitality standards
- As a Servers Assistant, you will be assisting guests and supporting Servers by serving food and beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring a clean, welcoming dining environment
- The role involves working in areas with low or dim lighting
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
