Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a hospitality or customer service role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a restaurant host or hostess or similar customer service role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Positive attitude and professionalism
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize guest requests
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations
  • Openness to learning and receiving feedback

Job Duties

  • Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure an even workload for the staff
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Perform regular inspection of the dining rooms and maintain cleanliness of the facility while communicating with management areas of concern
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team to reach common goals
  • Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
  • Ability to prioritize well and remember all guests' requests
  • Openness to constructive feedback and being coached or mentored
