Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred
- Proficient with reservation and scheduling software
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Physical capability to perform lifting and physical demands of the job
Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of OpenTable platform
- Flexible scheduling availability
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 35 pounds
Job Duties
- Maintain presence at host stand or door to greet and seat customers
- Monitor server performance to ensure smooth service during the customers' dining experience
- Observe proper telephone etiquette
- Handle reservations through OpenTable platform and respond to inquiries about hours of operation, specials, and events
- Organize reservations to maximize seating during operating hours and optimize staffing and customer traffic
- Fulfill duties involving lifting objects such as tables, chairs, and highchairs
